Automated laboratory reactors (ARLs) such as the FlexyLab&trade from Systag are ideal for rapid process development. Computer-controlled reactant feeds, and temperature control and monitoring, give the development scientist the ability to control and track the behavior of chemical reactions in a convenient and efficient way. ReactionView&trade can be readily added to an ARL because the slim probe fits into most standard reactor fittings. Here, the probe is added to a FlexyLab along with a temperature sensor, reactant feeds, and a mechanical stirrer.
