The VizIR&trade software package runs under Windows 2000 or Windows XP, and is part of the ReactionView&trade system. VizIR&trade
enables data collection, display, and analysis from a single interface which is both simple
and powerful. The data control panel on the left is used to start and stop reaction monitoring experiments, and to set up the experimental conditions -- how often spectra are collected, for example. The upper display window shows a realtime 3D display of the mid-IR spectra as they are collected. The lower window shows the most recent single spectrum by default. |
| The display limits for the 3D image can be reset (without affecting the data collection) and the image can be rotated -- a very effective way to see changes developing the spectra. The five most recnet spectra can be displayed in the lower window -- here they are overlayed to highlight areas of change. | ![]() |

The lower window can be reset to show the five most recent spectra overlayed, or in a "waterfall" configuration-- a good way to look for the first onset of spectral changes. |
| After data collection is under way, the lower window can be used to display up to five trend lines from the experiment -- graphs of intensity versus time for selected peaks from the spectra. | ![]() |
